Luxanna's Info...

I am already spayed, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Luxanna's Story...
So you want a super friendly, affectionate, outgoing, calm, loving, confident and easy to live with lap cat? Look no further, Luxanna is an extremely friendly cat who will keep you company! Great with gentle kids, too. She loves other cats! Don’t know about dogs yet.
Back in March, she gave birth to 5 beautiful healthy kittens when she was a little over a year old, a baby herself. Shortly thereafter, a single orphan came to live here and Luxanna graciously took Blondie under her wing and cared for her like one of her own.
I cannot tell you how sweet she is, you will have to see for yourself. She is a definite lap cat and cuddle bug. She rubs against you until you pet her. She will flop down for her tummy rub. She does not run and hide. Add a sunny window and she will be in heaven. So will you!
She has fur that is slightly longer than a short fur cat. As all short hair cats, she will need to be brushed in the spring and fall when natural shedding occurs.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Luxanna, a St. Charles Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in St. Charles, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in St. Charles.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in St. Charles already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a St. Charles breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in St. Charles paves the way for another one to be saved.
