My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Cecile is one of 6 dogs that we recently took from a commercial breeder. All were freshly shaved to the skin - with the razor burn to prove it. Amazingly, all of them came to appreciate being in rescue very quickly and are soaking in our attention like little sponges! Cecile is a wonderful girl. The day I got her, her eyes looked like sandpaper. I medicated them 4 times a day for the first several days she was in rescue and she now looks like a new girl. I haven't stopped putting drops in her eyes but maybe I will just to see if she'll need daily drops or not. In any case, she's very good about getting her drops instilled twice a day. No big deal. There is something very special about Miss Cecile. I just saw something precious in her as soon as she arrived. She has a very gentle and sweet demeanor. She willingly trusts me to care for her. I love that. Cecile was born on Christmas day, 2008 so is 7 years old. Just middle aged for a small breed dog. She is spayed, up to date on all shots, heartworm negative, on hw/flea preventive, microchipped and has had her teeth cleaned. Her adoption fee is $200.
