My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This is Winston (HWTH#15385A). He is a Cairn Terrier mix, DOB: 9/13/13. Winston weighs approximately 18 pounds and stands 12 inches at the shoulders. This is what his foster mom has to say about Winston, "Winston was living at a school for at least a month when a good Samaritan asked that Halfway to Home trap him to get him off the streets. He is the most loving boy ever. Now that Winston has learned not all humans are bad, he wants to be at your side or shadow you all day long. He will need someone who is home most of the time as he does have some separation issues now. Also, Winston can climb fences, so no homes with chain link fencing. He loves to play with other dogs and is learning what toys are. Winston loves to eat and shows no signs of food aggression (which is amazing after all he has been through)." As you can understand, Winston will need a little time to adjust to his new Forever home environment and love and structure will be the keys to help him settle in quickly. He is crate trained.
