My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

*Adoption Fee Waived* Sacramento- Juliana has been with us too long! She is currently been in foster the longest (with our other long timers getting adopted this week) and so we hope it her turn. Please share and tag with anyone who might be in need of an active companion. She is about 2 years old, 65 pounds and we believe she is a Belgian Shepherd. She really needs someone to provide her exerci se as well as boundaries. She spent the first year and a half outside, making puppies with little structure and really needs someone who understands the needs of an active dog. She prefers big, mellow dogs as companions (she plays a bit too rough for most small dogs). She currently lives with dogs, cats, rabbits, and children but would be best in a home without small children (she still needs to work on not jumping up and she does herd) and without dominant dogs. Her hips have been x-rayed and she has no hip dysplasia (which for shepherds is a great thing) but if she is inactive too long she can get stiff. Ironically she was rescued with her sister from Placer County Paws when her sister was not considered adoptable (and she was) and we took them both. Her sister has been adopted for a few months now and her new family adores her and now it is Jules' turn.

She is spayed, microchipped, up to date on vaccines and now just needs a home of her own. If you are interested in adopting her, you can find our adoption process and apply online at: http:// recycledpetsnorcal.org/ adoption-process/
