Facts about Gus

  • Breed: Domestic Shorthair
  • Color: Orange Or Red (Mostly)
  • Age: Young
  • Sex: Male
  • Hair: Short
Gus is about 5 months old - a little shy but loves to be held and cuddled - and he gives the best hugs!!
He takes a little time to trust you but then he is a typical playful kitten. He will probably grow up to be a great lap kitty!

He loves playing with his sister, Daisy and it would be great if they could go together but not a requirement. He is used to dogs and other cats.
Because I am fixed, tested (negative) for FIV and FeLV, and vaccinated, Happy Strays asks for a $110 adoption fee.

If you're considering adopting me, the first step is to fill out an application here:

About Happy Strays Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

Happy Strays Rescue is a non-profit rescue organization that cares for stray, abandoned and orphaned cats and kittens. Our rescues are often just babies who require bottlefeeding and hand rearing. Our cats and kittens are cared for in a network of wonderful foster homes while they wait for adoption.

Come Meet Our Pets...

We currently have many many cats and kittens ready for adoption! Because we do not have a shelter and our cats reside in foster homes they are only available to be seen at our adoption Saturdays. If there is a cat you would like to meet, please let us know so that we can make sure the kitty is at our next event.

Our cats are available for adoption every Saturday from 11 am-3:30 pm at the PETCO in La Canada and 10:00am-2:30pm at Petco in Santa Clarita. Please see our website for details and directions.

Our Adoption Process...

Our fees average $100 and include spay/neuter, testing for Felv/FIV and all vaccinations. We have an adoption questionaire and contract to be signed. We do not allow de-clawing, but we often rescue declawed cats and have them available for adoption. If the adoption is not a good fit for the cat or family, pets may always be returned to us.
