JORDAN's Story...
This litter of puppies is simply gorgeous and all of them are such great little pups. They are sure to make some lucky family a terrific family pet. Jordan has a very sweet personality, good natured, loves people and other dogs. He and his siblings, spend most of their time running, playing and having a big time. Like most puppies, he is active, but not hyper. Their mother (her name is Girl) is a 30 pound Border Collie/Australian Shepherd mix that is also posted for adoption on our site. She showed up at a home & had these 6 beautiful puppies shortly after she arrived. The family took super good care of all of them until the puppies were weaned, then she asked us if we could take them into our rescue. The puppies were born on 7/8/15. Jordan will be neutered on 9/21/15 and will be ready to travel the week of 10/05/15. He has also been fecal tested, is current on all vaccines, worming and on heartworm and flea prevention. His adoption fee is $400.

Jordan is being fostered in Tennessee. Our rescue ships to the New England area every week and her fee does include transportation. Once adopted he will be transported to his pickup location by a professional dog transport company. Due to state laws, we do not adopt to Maine residents.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

JORDAN, a Newburgh Border Collie/Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Border Collie/Labrador Retriever for sale in Newburgh, or seeking a Border Collie/Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in Newburgh.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Newburgh already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Newburgh breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Border Collie/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Border Collie/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Newburgh paves the way for another one to be saved.
