Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hello, my name is Peaches and I'm a sweet, loving, and timid 2 year old Collie Mix that just wants to love and be loved back. I am very gentle and laidback and though I may be shy at first, I am very affectionate and caring once I warm up to you. I'm not very energetic, so if you have a laidback lifestyle then that is okay with me. I will enjoy going places with you though if you'd like to take me. :)
I am good with kids and I like dogs, but I need to warm up to them first usually since I'm shy so if you do have another dog it might just take some getting used to for me and I would be more suited in a home with older kids that could respect my space. I haven't really been around cats, but it would probably just take a little getting used to with them as well.
I was brought into the shelter after being found neglected and covered in ticks, but I'm okay and don't have any health issues that have come from it, so I'm very happy that the shelter found me when they did. Now I just want to find a family that will love me and that I can love back. Although I am currently in Hancock County, Mississippi, transportation to the New England area is provided by Animal Rescue Front and is included in the adoption fee. If you are interested in taking me into your forever home, please fill out the adoption form here: http://animalrescuefront.org/forms/
