Here's what the humans have to say about me:
My name is Fanny ... I can’t talk yet but if I could I would say this about myself. I’m a little lady with a big heart and lots of love. My favorite hobbies are laying on the couch with my foster family, playing with Augustus (my foster’s male beagle), walking on the leash and getting “lots of loving”. I like to wag my tail a lot, especially if I’m getting special attention. I’m four years old and a petite 27 lbs, and can be pretty frisky! I’m timid until I get to know you but then I will follow you anywhere.
In the house, I like to lie on the couch and sleep or watch everyone doing their thing. I’m on a pretty tight schedule: I go potty when I get up in the morning (outside of course), during the day (when I go to the back door), and at night when I go to bed in my very own crate. I sometimes take a nap during the day on the bed with my foster parents. Oh, by the way, I don’t know too many commands yet like “come” or “sit”, but I’m working on them because I’m a smart girl.
Outside, I love to walk with my humans and Augustus and I’m really good on a leash and will potty when I’m on my walk. I’m a real beagle because I like to put my nose to the ground and check out everything. I’m really quiet--not too many “arooo’s” from me. (Well, maybe if I see one of those pesky rabbits, I will let you know.) Otherwise, I’m not much on barking on the leash, in the house, or even when someone comes to the door. I leave all that to Augustus and the humans.
I do well in a home with a fenced in yard and humans (and maybe children too) around me. I get a little lonely when no one is in the house. I am gentle with the children I’ve met and like to play fetch. I think I would do well with another dog friend.
I don’t remember much about the before (MW BREW) time. I was wandering on the streets and a nice MW BREW lady rescued me and gave me a temporary home with my nice foster parents. Now I’m ready to have my new, special family. Maybe you could be my very own “fur-ever” family!
