Feta's Story...
Hi, my name is Feta! I'm a very unique-looking domestic shorthair cat that is just getting used to being pet (which I love by the way). I love to play with my comb and feather toys. I LOVE MY FEATHER TOY! It is so neat, because I never had anything like that outside. I like to chill out on my own most of the time, because I had to rely on myself when I was out on the street. Maybe you can help me open up with my personality? I like to sit in cat beds or on window sills and watch the world go by outside. I do get along with other cats, although I also need my own space and will keep to myself.
For the first few months of my life I grew up outside, being chased by dogs and cars. I was exposed to the elements including tropical storms, lots of rain, and blazing hot Florida afternoons.
Will you please consider letting me into your forever home, where I can finally rest comfortably away from the heat and the rain?

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Feta, a Tampa Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Tampa, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Tampa.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Tampa already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Tampa breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Tampa paves the way for another one to be saved.
