Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Howdy partner! My name is Travis and I am currently waiting for my furever family to come along and take me home! My new friends at The Rescue Inn describe me as a 5 year old, 40lb. Black and Tan Coonhound who is super sweet, calm, friendly and oh so handsome (Yeah, I may have embellished it just a little. I’m allowed!) To me, that whole thing is a big old mouthful. Let me make it simple – I’m a good boy who loves everyone and just wants a family to call my own. I enjoy the company of other dogs and would love to have a furry sibling to hang out with. There are these things in my foster home called “kitties” and they are ok too. I don’t mind them one bit.
I will admit that I don’t know all of those fancy tricks that some other rescue dogs already have mastered. Nobody has ever taken the time to teach me things like “sit”, “down”, or “shake”. Please don’t hold that against me. I can learn! Really I can! I know it! Oh, one other little detail - I am just getting over a nasty illness called "heartworm". The awesome folks at the Inn got me all fixed up, though, and I am a healthy boy again and ready for a home.
I have heard people say that a dog is man’s best friend (or woman’s - I don’t discriminate). If you choose me to be your furever dog, I promise to be the poster boy for that statement. I can’t wait to be someone’s loyal companion. Maybe you’ll give me that chance???
If you would like to be my new BFF, please contact my adoption consultant, Sherry, at 216-798-9797 or foster4pawz@gmail for more information. She can give you all of the details!
