My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Candy is a gorgeous 1-2 year old Siberian Husky mix. When she arrived at Friendship she was immediately placed in a foster home to recover from a broken pelvis. Little is known about Candy's history or how she broke her pelvis, because she brought to the shelter by someone who found her in their yard. The foster family praises Candy for being gentle and friendly to everyone, especially teenagers. She has not been introduced to cats, but got along well with the family's small dog. Candy loves to snuggle, loves her toys and enjoys sitting outside. She is very happy to be with a family. The foster family reports that Candy has excellent manners, is house trained and crate trained. She has a sweet personality and doesn't bark much.

Due to her injury Candy struggles with walking on some surfaces and begins to slip and fall. She allows you to carry her when the going gets rough. She does walk well on carpeting, grass and rough concrete.

THERE IS AN ADOPTION PENDING ON CANDY.

All dogs receive one or more vaccinations, a basic veterinary examination, are wormed, heartworm tested and spayed or neutered. Dogs 3 months and older are micro-chipped.
