Moonlight's Story...
Hello, I'm Moonlight and I'm a lab mix girl only about a year old, but I am pretty mellow for such a young pup! I love to play with toys and am content chewing a bone or laying around with my human and dog friends. I am very goofy and happy when I'm in my home environment, but could use some confidence in new situations since I can get a little timid. I was rescued off the streets of Beirut, Lebanon with my sister, so I'm still learning that I'm safe and taken care of! I am about 36 lbs right now and should top out around 50lbs. I am incredibly loving and loyal, so email Hearts of Hope to make me your new best friend! My adoption fee is $200.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Moonlight, a Grand Rapids Labrador Retriever/English Pointer dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/English Pointer for sale in Grand Rapids, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/English Pointer dog from a breeder in Grand Rapids.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Grand Rapids already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Grand Rapids breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/English Pointer breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/English Pointer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Grand Rapids paves the way for another one to be saved.
