Elsa's Story...
Elsa is a very sweet little 8 month old Beagle mix. She was a pet before her family lost their home and moved in with relatives. Elsa was saved from going to the shelter by a local rescuer. She's very friendly, loves to roll over for tummy rubs and is used to all the comforts of home. She is housebroken also. Elsa weighs about 35 lbs. She should have a mature weight around 40 - 45 lbs.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Elsa, a Lexington Beagle/Hound (Unknown Type) puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle/Hound (Unknown Type) for sale in Lexington, or seeking a Beagle/Hound (Unknown Type) puppy from a breeder in Lexington.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Lexington already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Lexington breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle/Hound (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Beagle/Hound (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Lexington paves the way for another one to be saved.
