Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Basil our male 3 year old Chihuahua-mix snuggle bear, weighing 11 lbs. Basil came to us from a California shelter and was found to be undernourished and frightened. Since then we have brought him over to Seattle where he is currently looking for his forever home.
Basil is a bundle of joy filled with so much love. He is eager to please and responds very well to consistent training and positive reinforcements.
He does fantastic on walks and is already house-trained. He loves to be a around his people and does not understand the concept of personal space so be prepared to have a shadow or a constant snuggle buddy who is as cute as can be.
Basil is a bit nervous around men at first, but with a bit of patience and love he comes around. We are working on this and have seen improvement but his adopter will need to continue building his confidence and trust around men. This helps bond everyone together and helps Basil know what is expected.
We also recommend that he be placed in a home that is calm and with no children younger than 13yrs of age.
He gets along well with other dogs similar in size and tends to ignore cats.
Basil is up to date on his shots, neutered and micro chipped. His adoption fee is $350.
