9/16/15- Say hello to Jena. Jena is a 2.5 year old lab/border collie mix. Jena and her brother Jameson have had a pretty rough life. They were rescued as puppies and were in rough shape. They both were very skinny, covered in fleas and ticks, and had a very bad case of demodex mange. It took a while for their immune system to get strong enough to help fight the demodex. They are now doing great. Jena can be shy when first needing new people but is a fun and sweet girl once she gets to know new people.

About PAWS of Marion, AR

About Our Rescue Group...

We are a small 501c3 non-profit rescue group. We do not have a shelter facility. All of our dogs live in foster homes until adopted and can be met on an appointment-only basis once we have received an adoption application.

Please understand that it is the obligation of PAWS volunteers to place our animals in optimum homes. Many of our animals have been injured and/or abused. We must insure that they are not placed into traumatic situations again.

We are rescue-friendly. If you work with a rescue and are interested in helping some of our dogs, please contact our Adoption/Rescue Coordinator, Leanne Britton @ 901-489-2470.

Our Adoption Process...

Our adoption fee is $150 which covers spay/neuter, heartworm testing, rabies, distemper, parvo vaccinations and deworming.

Our adoption process includes a completed application, vet reference and in some cases a home visit.

We are rescue friendly and work with PETS Transport (www.petsllc.net). Rescues are responsible for making transport arrangements and covering associated transport fees.
