found a new home!
Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.
I am already spayed, a special needs pet, in need of an experienced adopter, up to date with shots, not good with kids, not good with dogs, and good with cats.
When Teddy was surrendered to SNAP cats we were told that he had a cleft lip/palate. Once we saw the dilute calico ears, we knew he was a she. But she knew her name, so we kept it.
SNAP Cats, with help from our wonderful donors, fixed Teddy's cleft lip/palate in a series of surgeries starting on October 15, 2014.
At first, Teddy was very, very shy. She startled at every little noise, and basically was being considered a barn cat. As time progressed, though, Teddy was making great progress. She would take food from your hand. Then, for some unknown reason, Teddy regressed. She hides now most of the time. She really needs a quiet home, with either no other cats or a few non-aggressive cats. I think there’s a possibility of her making progress again, but it’s just not going to happen here at SNAP Cats.
So we’re looking for a nice, quiet home for Teddy to possibly come out of her shell (again). She may come around, but we can’t guarantee that. Teddy may always be a little timid. But that shouldn't stop her from becoming an indoor kitty. Teddy just needs some time to acclimate. She needs a human that'll give her the time to adjust, has a quiet household, with no kids, indoor only, and has a companion cat to help her socialize.
Teddy is up to date with her vaccinations, and tested negative for FIV and FeLV.
