Hi! I'm Kip and I am almost 10 years old (actually, I am exactly 9yrs 7mo). I've had a sad experience...my human mom passed away and there was no one to look after me anymore so I was brought in to the Florence Humane Society shelter in Florence, Oregon. They're all really nice to me and have been taking me to school because I get a little nervous around new people. The folks at the shelter say I am a really nice boy and I'm doing well in school. While I like them here, I really would like to find a new family all my own that I can love for the rest of my life. Will you help me?
ODR, INC. ADOPTION CRITERIA (aka Our Fine Print):
Based on 30 years of experience with rescue doxies, we have pretty strict criteria. Do you work from home/stay at home/work part time? Have a securely fenced yard? We do not place same gender dogs in a home unless they were raised together, and children need to be 10 or older (some exceptions IF the dog is a puppy or the child has been raised with a doxie). We prefer non smokers and a home with no other small animals (ferrets, hamsters, etc) Cats are on a case by case basis depending on the dog. Remember these are rescues, many were surrendered because of these issues.
