MALLORY's Story...
Mallory is a female Maltese/Shih Tzu mix approximately 4 years in age. She is a sturdy little girl, weighing 10 lbs. which is good adult weight for her. She has a beautiful face with big dark eyes and very short nose. Mallory has a soft, straight, non-shedding white coat of hair. She currently has a shorter summer haircut. Her perky tail curls up over her back and her round little body is very cuddly. Mallory is a people dog all the way and absolutely adores being close to her foster family. She is a gentle, kind little girl with a sweet, affectionate temperament. She is more on the mellow side and an easy keeper. She is perfectly happy to snuggle next to another dog or merely take a nap in a dog bed next to foster mom. Mallory is good with other dogs and could be happy as an only dog. She rides nicely in the car and enjoys going for walks. She is healthy and looking for her new forever home today!

You can meet MALLORY at PETCO, 15333 Culver Dr., Irvine, CA this SATURDAY, SEPT 19th, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

MALLORY, a Covina Maltese/Shih Tzu dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Maltese/Shih Tzu for sale in Covina, or seeking a Maltese/Shih Tzu dog from a breeder in Covina.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Covina already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Covina breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Maltese/Shih Tzu breeders who help with Maltese/Shih Tzu rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Covina paves the way for another one to be saved.
