Cindy (CP)'s Info...

I am already spayed, up to date with shots, declawed, good with kids, and good with dogs.

Cindy (CP)'s Story...
Cindy is looking for a new home since her mom is moving and cats are not allowed in the new housing. Cindy is about 16-17 years old with a tortie coat. She may be a senior cat but she is in good health. She takes thyroid medication twice a day but otherwise has no problems. She is up to date on her vaccines and has had regular vet care throughout her life. Cindy is also spayed and declawed. Cindy grew up with children and did well with them. Like most cats, she’s not crazy about loud noises but she is accustomed to kids in the house. Cindy has also lived with a small dog and done great. Cindy is generally low-key and loves to cuddle. Please consider giving her a loving home for the rest of her years.

If you are interested in fostering or adopting her, please contact Susan at 717-574-9429 or suewellsb@yahoo.com.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Cindy (CP), a Carlisle Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Carlisle, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Carlisle.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Carlisle already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Carlisle breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Carlisle paves the way for another one to be saved.
