This cute little Terrier mix is Dawson. He is about 6 months old. His mom is a wire-haired Dachshund mix but Dawson definitely didn't inherit her shorter legs as he has very long legs. He weighs about 10 lbs now and while he is a little on the thin side, he likely won't be more than 20 lbs when full grown. Dawson has been a good boy in his foster home. He has not had any accidents in the house although his foster mom is diligent about taking him outside to go to the bathroom. He also keeps his kennel clean all night. He is still a puppy, so he does like to chew on things he's not supposed to, but responds very well to correction. Dawson is a very sweet boy who loves attention and snuggling on your lap. He was very shy when he first came to his foster home, but has made tremendous progress. Dawson gets along great with the Yorkie in his foster home, but has been a little snippy with some dogs he doesn't know. I think he would do fine in a home with other dogs with the proper introduction. Dawson is neutered and his adoption fee is $225 which includes all of his shots and he is current on heartworm preventative and flea and tick preventative.
