My name is Boone.
I'm a sweet loving, 10 month old male Great Dane and full of puppy energy!
I LOVE to play! I can play fetch and catch with a ball. My foster family has taught me to hit the ball with my nose right back at them to catch...it's lots of fun for all of us!
I like bones to chew on, stuffed squeaky toys, and deer antlers are fun to chew on too.
I like to keep my favorite toy, my blue puppy, with me at all times. I will carry him around in my mouth wherever I go.
I know a lot of commands like sit, down, stay, eat, drink, and wait.
My foster mom says I’m getting really good at the wait command and I'm using my manners to wait for her to walk through a door first.
Crate-trained? Nah, I don’t need it at all. My foster momma discovered that I do very well in a closed door room with a dog bed or mattress on the floor. I have made zero damage. I’m fine being alone for 4 hours per day while my foster family are at work and school. Once, they left me alone for 7 hours and they were very proud of me for being a good boy! They trust me having a free range of a closed door room.
I love treats and I love to eat! Sometimes when my foster siblings come by my food bowl, I get a little scared they're going to eat it all so I get a little snarky. My foster mom makes sure they know to let me finish before they come over to see what I'm up to.
My most favorite thing to do is to be with my people. I like to sit in their lap, because after all, I really am a lapdog at heart.
Sometimes I can't get close enough to my people so I'll just lay on top of them, I think they really enjoy that because they just laugh at me when I do it.
I get a long really well with my foster siblings BIG and small!
I just love to play and run around the backyard with them.
I love to go for walks and car rides too!
I can't wait to shower my forever family with lots of wet kisses, warm snuggles, and lots of love! Could that be you?
