My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi, there! My name is Pepper! My foster mom says it’s Pawsitively Precious Pepper. I weigh about 8 lbs, and I’m really shy. I get along well with cats and other dogs, it just takes me a bit to get use to them. I like to be around adults but not kids. I hardly bark at all, and I love to sit in your lap. I would probably do best in a home with no other dogs or just one other dog. I would be great for a retired person!

I am pretty good at doing my “business” outside when you let me out. I am too shy to bark to let you know that I need to go outside, so please watch me for signs. I absolutely need a fenced yard!!

I am really a sweet girl and am just looking for someone to love me. Oh, I forgot to tell you! I am originally from Texas. As the weather is getting kind of cold here, I would love it if you kept me in a coat or sweater during the cold months.

Pepper’s adoption fee is $250. Adopters must live within 150 miles or a 3 hour drive of the Quad City area.
