Charlie's Story...
Charlie #83-15 Male approximately 10 yrs. old. He is house trained good with other dogs, not sure about cats, does well with the 9 yr. old child of the home He was born with his kneecaps formed backwards on his hind legs, so he walks peg legged. But that does not slow him down a bit. I have seen him run up and down hills, initiate play with other dogs and so forth. He is quite the amazing lil'guy, if you would like to open your home to a somewhat disabled senior dog and complete Charlie's journey home then contact us at sds4ptime@gmail.com

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Charlie, a Huntsville Maltese dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Maltese for sale in Huntsville, or seeking a Maltese dog from a breeder in Huntsville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Huntsville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Huntsville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Maltese breeders who help with Maltese rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Huntsville paves the way for another one to be saved.
