Kenickie's Story...
Hi my name is Kenickie and boy oh boy am I a cutie! I was saved from the county shelter with my 7 brothers and sisters at the very last minute before we were to be euthanized. Life in foster is good but what I really want is a furever home, I hear those are the BEST! Im very friendly and love people, when my foster mommy comes in my room I come running to her to be picked up. By the way, did you see the white tip on my tail? My foster mommy says its super cute. I hope my home will adopt one of my siblings with me, or will already have another kitty at home who needs a friend. Hope to meet you soon! Love, Kenickie

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Kenickie, a Tampa Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Tampa, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Tampa.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Tampa already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Tampa breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Tampa paves the way for another one to be saved.
