Sweet Pea's Story...
Sweet Pea is a 1-2 year old Poodle. Weighing in at only 9 lbs, this little girl is a sweetheart. She loves to cuddle, play & twirl with excitement. She gets along great with all dogs & is a little shy around humans when she first meets them. She likes to wander, so a fenced in yard is a must. Also, a home with another dog to help her learn is recommended. If you are looking for a sweet, loving companion, Sweet Pea is the girl for you! She is currently working on potty training, but she will come around eventually once a routine is in place for her. Sweet Pea has been spayed & up to date on vaccinations. If you are interested in giving Sweet Pea a forever, loving home, please complete an adoption application on our website, www.treasuredpalsrescue.org & email ccomeaux.tpssr@gmail.com expressing your interest. Sweet Pea is located in Louisiana.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sweet Pea, a New Iberia Poodle (Miniature) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Poodle (Miniature) for sale in New Iberia, or seeking a Poodle (Miniature) dog from a breeder in New Iberia.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in New Iberia already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a New Iberia breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Poodle (Miniature) breeders who help with Poodle (Miniature) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in New Iberia paves the way for another one to be saved.
