My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

NOTE: All our Cupids are fostered in private homes. An approved application MUST be on file before proceeding with meet-and-greet. The online application can be found at http://www.caninecupids.org/adopt-.html.

Meet Odin!
Who is looking for their new BFF? Odin is a 2-year-old dalmatian/pit bull Mix who is a sweet little ball of love! Odin is family- and fur-kid-approved, and you can't help but be happy to see him as he will ALWAYS be happy to see you!

His happiness is well-displayed by his endless tail wag and sweet snuggling. Did someone say treats? Or ball? Odin knows sit and is working on other commands, He is very treat motivated and picks up quickly. He loves a good game of fetch or even just a chill day playing with his ball. Odin would be a great addition to any family!

In honor of Canine Cupids' "Pittsgiving" promotion, Odin’s adoption fee is $125, and he is being fostered in southeastern Wisconsin. Because all our Cupids are fostered in private homes, an approved application MUST be on file before proceeding with a meet-and-greet. The online application can be found at http://www.caninecupids.org/adopt-.html.

If you are interested in adopting, here are the next steps for you to take:

1. Complete & submit an application at http://www.caninecupids.org/adopt-.html

2. You will be notified by our Adoptions Team when your application is processed and approved (usually within 48 hrs)

3. Once approved, your application is sent to the foster family, who will then be able to provide you all the information imaginable on the dog as well as set up a meet and greet.

Our Thoughts on Visual Breed Identification
Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable. For most of our adoptable Cupids we are only guessing at the predominant breed or breed mix. We think it’s most important is to get to know each dog as an individual! We then do our best to describe each of our adoptable Cupids based on their personalities in order to determine whether they’ll make good companions based on prospective adopters’ lifestyles. Dog behavior is not exclusive to breed — it’s a complex mix of nature and nurture.
