Chelsea's Info...

I am purebred, good with kids, and good with dogs.

Chelsea's Story...
Chelsea came to us from the Brownsville shelter. Like most e get from the Valley, she is in horrible shape. Very skinny, you can see every bone in her body. Her nails were 1 1/2" long. Infected sores on her feet, nasty eye infection, and of course, she is HW pos.

In spite of her bad condition, Chelsea has good spirit. She is very sweet, good around kids and OK with other dogs. She was put on medication to clear the infections and she's on raw diet with plenty of good treats, so she'll start to gain some weight. Once she is in good weight, we will get her spayed and start the HW treatment.

Please email us if you'd like to give Chelsea a good loving home.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Chelsea, a Austin Great Dane dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Great Dane for sale in Austin, or seeking a Great Dane dog from a breeder in Austin.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Austin already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Austin breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Great Dane breeders who help with Great Dane rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Austin paves the way for another one to be saved.
