Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Berkeley is three year old Cane Corso Mastiff who came into rescue as an adult. As with all the "power breeds," rescue personnel and adopters must use due diligence when considering rehoming. Because we don't know much about her early months, it is difficult to have a complete picture of her personality and temperament. This we know: She is wary of strangers for a little while and takes offence at uninvited petting. The breed is suspicious by nature but generally want to be a family member. We witnessed mild rough-housing turning into an overreaction of her part so it is obvious her play activities have not had boundries established. Berkeley is a work in progress for someone who knows the breed well and has had experience with the Mastiff.
