Bronx's Story...
This beautiful little lady is just full of surprises! We were totally convinced she was a boy and when we dropped Bronx off to be neutered did we ever get a shock! I guess that explains why she is soooo very pretty! She has the most magnificent hazel eyes and is a very delicious shade or orange creamsicle and just as sweet too! She is about 11 weeks old and when we took her in she was not used to humans at all! She has come such a long way being shown how to love her people and be a part of a very busy active family! She loves other cats, doesn't mind our large dogs and is very tolerant of our busy toddler and 5 year old! She is happy to be held and loved on and she is often found supervising the other foster kittens and keeping them in check!! She is spayed, microchipped, tested Felv/Fiv negative, and is vaccinated. She has been such a pleasure to foster! Watching her blossom into a kitten that purrs as soon as you pick her up has been a true joy! She is so playful and fun to watch in action! I cant wait for you to meet her! You may talk with her foster mom by emailing info@FORrescue.net. If you'd like to meet her, please complete the cat application at www.FORrescue.net. There is no obligation, it is simply our starting point. Star is located in Huntsville, AL.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bronx, a Huntsville Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Huntsville, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Huntsville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Huntsville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Huntsville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Huntsville paves the way for another one to be saved.
