Maggie's Info...

I am already spayed, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

Maggie's Story...
Maggie was adopted as a puppy and is now almost two years old. She has been left as an outside dog only, so she has tried to go on adventures to keep her life interesting. She has a history of being playful with children of all ages and other dogs as well. She is "tolerant" of cats.
Maggie doesn't like sudden loud noises, which is very common in Border Collies. She is very smart and considered to have a high activity level, so she sounds like a very typical Border Collie. She will probably respond very well to training.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Maggie, a Spokane Border Collie dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Border Collie for sale in Spokane, or seeking a Border Collie dog from a breeder in Spokane.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Spokane already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Spokane breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Border Collie breeders who help with Border Collie rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Spokane paves the way for another one to be saved.
