Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Sasha! This girl's loving eyes and gentle, yet playful, personality is sure to win your heart. Sasha was originally picked up as a stray by animal control. When no one came to claim her as their own, she was put up for adoption. She quickly won the hearts of staff, volunteers, and her fellow pups in her time at the shelter. Sasha even caught the eye of a weekend foster that brought her home for a temporary foster! After a short stay in a home, we learned that Sasha's favorite past times include playing with other dogs and going on runs around the lakes. She also appears to be house-, kennel-, AND leash-trained. This smart girl is also food motivated, so additional tricks won't be hard for her to catch on to! Sasha loves company, but will also happily entertain herself by throwing toys around. If she wants anyone's attention, she is never shy about using her paws as hands to get them to play with her!
At just around a year old, Sasha weighs in just under 40lbs and will most likely stay around that size. Her well-balanced personality would fit nicely into just about any active, inside household. Given the proper exercise that any big pup needs, Sasha is the ultimate cuddle buddy. Whether you are looking for a companion for yourself, your family, your dog, or all of the above, Sasha is your girl! So, will you be her new family?
Dogs in our program are spayed or neutered, microchipped, up to date on vaccinations, and given a physical examination by a veterinarian prior to adoption.
