Oscar's Story...
Male: sh Brown Marble Tabby and white.

Oscar is a charming flirtatious talker who loves to be stroked and scratched. He will seek out love when you talk to him sweetly. He's an avid serious toy hunter who controls his prey at first contact sometimes using his aerial abilities to nab that bird on a string. Oscar says "I'm a little nervous with new people. I like to take my time and let people pet me for a while at first then I trust them and they can touch me anywhere. Of course if you feed me wet food I'm yours forever!" Oscar can be over stimulated if he doesn't know you and will love bite. He uses his box and doesn't spray. Birthdate approx 4/2014. Best if he were the only kitty. Experienced older kids 16 +. No Dogs.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Oscar, a San Jose Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in San Jose, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in San Jose.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in San Jose already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a San Jose breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in San Jose paves the way for another one to be saved.
