Jax's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and not good with cats.

Jax's Story...
Jax is as sweet girl who was found living with her puppies in horrible conditions. Throughout her rescue and fostering she has proven to be the sweetest, gentlest girl! She is about 2 years old, 12 pounds, loves everyone, does great with other dogs and is housebroken! We would love to see her go to a home with another dog because she loves to play with them...she is very curious about cats so a home without cats is probably best. If you'd like to add Jax to your family please visit our website at www.goofyfootrescue.org and fill out an application. Jax is in foster in West TN and will be transported once her adoption is finalized.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jax, a Hagerstown Border Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Border Terrier for sale in Hagerstown, or seeking a Border Terrier dog from a breeder in Hagerstown.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Hagerstown already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Hagerstown breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Border Terrier breeders who help with Border Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Hagerstown paves the way for another one to be saved.
