Owen's Story...
Hi! My name is Owen! I was found inside a parked car engine with my 9 other siblings, thankfully my foster mom saw she needed to help us and spent a long time getting all of us out! I thought I found my forever home last October but I was causing allergies and I could not stay. My foster mom says I am the most loving and social kitty she has ever met! I love to talk to people and rub on everyone. I love laps and can nap in one for hours! I love to give kitty kisses and I will stand on my hind legs to give them to you. I hope I can find my real forever home were I can give all of my love and receive it too!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Owen, a Tampa Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Tampa, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Tampa.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Tampa already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Tampa breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Tampa paves the way for another one to be saved.
