Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hi! My name is Darby! I'm a young beagle boy, around 2 years old. I'm a medium sized beagle. I'm skinny, and weigh 28 pounds. Midwest BREW rescued me from a shelter in Ohio.
As you would expect with my age, I'm fairly energetic. I love to play with toys and other dogs and love to go for walks. I need to go to a home that will give me proper exercise. My foster family needs to watch where they leave their shoes, as I've been known to run off with shoes left on the floor! I'm sociable and friendly to people, other dogs and even the cat that lives here.
I'm not too noisy. I normally only bark when I am playing and get all riled up. I've been told my howl is surprisingly deep and loud! I am crate trained, and I sleep in my crate at night and when my family is at work during the day. I always keep my crate clean and dry. I had a few accidents in the house the first couple of days in my foster home, but have been really good and have not had any the last 2+ weeks!
I'm ready for my forever home. Please fill out an application if you think I might be the right dog for you! I'm being fostered in the Detroit area.
