HOUSTON's Story...
Houston is such a hoot! He is very funny and entertaining and he LOVES bath time…well water in general!. He is quite the looker too, with his stout build. Houston would make a wonderful addition to any active family. At the time of this posting he is 12 weeks old and weighs 19 pounds. He has been neutered, fecal tested, is current on all vaccines, worming and on heartworm and flea prevention. His adoption fee is $400.

Houston is being fostered in Tennessee. Our rescue ships to the New England area every week and his fee does include transportation. Once adopted he will be transported to his pickup location by a professional dog transport company. Due to state laws, we do not adopt to Maine residents.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

HOUSTON, a Newburgh Labrador Retriever/Border Collie puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Border Collie for sale in Newburgh, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Border Collie puppy from a breeder in Newburgh.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Newburgh already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Newburgh breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Border Collie breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Border Collie rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Newburgh paves the way for another one to be saved.
