Forever Home Needed!
Meet Bumble Bee!
A female Beagle who is approximately 4-5 yrs old. She is up to date on vaccinations, spayed, and house trained too!
Bumble Bee, called affectionately Sadie by her foster Mama, has been on a “working vacation”. She took a little break from the “Dogs for Adoption” album cuz she needed a little time to herself to work on some things.
Bumble Bee loves being with her people. She is very good at home and doesn’t get into mischief, though she does have a fascination with the garbage cans and thinks it fun to pull things out of it, especially tissues. She does have a bit of an issue with trying to dominate the couch and tends to growl when she is moved off it. Her foster Mama has been working on this with her and she’s been doing it less. She has gone through training and has responded well, especially when treats are involved. She is smart and learns quick.
She loves playing at the dog park but can get a little uncomfortable around new dogs when on leash and has been working on not barking or lunging. She is also making improvements on leash walking. Being a Beagle, when she gets onto a scent she can be a little stubborn until it has been thoroughly investigated! When she meets new people she gets so excited that the force of her tail wagging wags her whole body!
She enjoys being by your side and to run around and play in the backyard. She wouldn’t do well with young children and no cats. Toys and being allowed up on the furniture are new to her so she gets a little attached. If there is a male in the family they will have to take things slow and be patient with her while earning her trust. She is a clever dog who is eager to learn. She also loves to be petted, hugged, and given treats.
Bumble Bee will need an experienced owner who is comfortable taking on the role of “alpha dog”. MAR will also set up training sessions free of charge to get the whole family on the right track! It would be great to give this special pooch a chance at a real forever home!
*Though our volunteers try their best, we cannot guarantee that any rescued animal will be a perfect match for each resident, child, or resident pet in every foster/forever home.

*All adoptions include spay/ neuter and full vaccinations. If the animal is too young to be spayed/ neutered you will be expected to do that as per our Foster-to-Adopt Agreement Form.*
