Carter and his brother, Kennedy, are looking for a new home since their mom had to move away to care for her mother-in-law. She wanted to take her handsome boys with her but it just did not work out.
Carter and Kennedy are brothers from the same litter, the Presidential kitties. They were born into a hoarding situation before being rescued by Furry Friends Network. Carter would like to tell you a little about himself:
I am a very handsome grey fellow who looks like I’ve been standing in a bowl of milk drinking. I have four white paws, a white muzzle and white “milk” dripping down my chin and neck. I also have some white on my belly that looks like a white bikini, but Presidents shouldn’t wear bikinis, so let’s not talk about that!! My foster Mom says I’m hysterical. I’m not sure what that big word means, but she’s always laughing at me about something. I love to run around the house and play hide and seek! I don’t know why, but it seems like someone always finds me right away. Maybe it’s because only my head is hidden and the rest of me is actually sticking out? Hmmm…
I like to sit on the windowsill to sun myself and watch the birds in the nearby tree. I love to climb our cat tree to the tippy top, then climb back down like a bear cub. I’ll often follow people around the house and help you out with whatever you’re doing. I also have so much fun playing with feather wands, little mice and colored balls. There isn’t too much I won’t play with!! But after a long play session, I like to curl up with my brother, make some “bread,” purr loud like a motor boat, and take a nice long nap.
Carter would love to find a home with his brother if you have room in your home and heart for two loving and fun boys.
This kitty has had his initial vaccinations, de-worming, flea preventative, tested negative for FeLV/FIV, and been micro-chipped and altered (or will be micro-chipped and altered prior to adoption).
Adoption fee is 1/2 off for the second kitty adopted at same time. Adoption application, phone interview, home visit, and adoption fee required (+ PA Sales tax).
If you are interested in adopting a kitty(s), we ask that you complete an on-line adoption application to get the process started. To apply, simply go to www.furryfriendsnetwork.com / ADOPT tab / CAT Adoption Application. You will receive a welcome email once your application has been assigned to a volunteer processor (this should be within 72 hours of submitting an application). If you do not receive such an email, contact ffncatapps@yahoo.com. Once your application has been processed (this can take approx. 10-14 days), we will arrange contact with the foster to schedule a time to meet kitties you might be interested in. We are an all volunteer organization and appreciate your patience during this process.
