My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This beautiful girl is looking for a loving, forever home! Although timid at first, Scout is known to warm up to new people very quickly, and in a matter of minutes (and multiple treats later) she will be snuggling next to you on the sofa with her head in your lap! She loves getting out and being active, such as walking, running, hiking, going to the beach or just your general errands, but she is also very content snoozing away or relaxing in the sun. Scout is an original Virginia girl, but has adjusted well to big-city life! Although Scout has been food-aggressive in the past, she has been evaluated by a behavioralist who believes that she has a lot of potential! Scout would thrive best in a single-pet home and she would love an guardian who is willing to help work out her confidence issues with a trainer. She is very loyal to her person, and flourishes off attention. If you are seeking a life-long companion, Scout is your girl.

If you are interested in meeting Scout, please download the Adoption Questionnaire, fill it out and fax it back to us at (310) 362-0321. You can also meet this and/or other available dogs at our weekend adoptions.

[Scout is 3 years old and about 61 lbs.]
