My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

My name is Calliope and people tell me that they think I am beautiful. I’m an approximately 4-5 month old female Vizsla who was picked up as a stray when I was only 3 months. I was so very skinny and scared. My foster mom pulled me from the local kill shelter because she was afraid I would get sick if I stayed there waiting for adoption. Now I am healthy and ready to go. I weigh about 30 pounds now and I am growing fast. I am very happy and I love to play and run around my fenced back yard with my foster brothers and sisters. I am crate trained and pretty much housetrained. I am great with kids – as my foster mom had me kid-tested and it went great. I really liked them. But He…I’m just a doggie kid myself! I’m still a puppy, so right now I think whatever is on the floor is mine. Unfortunately my foster mom does not agree and she’s teaching me that this is not lady like behavior. I am all vetted and ready to go to a new home and I would love to get to my adoptive home soon. You don’t want to miss out on the rest of my puppyhood.
