Hi, my name is Gilbert, buy my foster mom says it should be "Love Bug". I’m a sweet 4lb, 4 year old Chihuahua, that with enjoys my K9foster dogs and cats. I am friendly and playful but I just love sitting in a warm human lap or snuggling. I play with toys and like being outside. I’m pretty calm. My ideal adopter would be someone that can give me love and snuggle time and a warm lap to share. My foster mom says I'm quite social and doing pretty well walking on a leash. I’m making good progress with outdoor potty training. I am crate trained. I tend to bark when outside, as I’m a good communicator when I hear other dogs barking, but I tend to be pretty quiet (only an occasional bark) when inside. A fenced yard is preferred especially if I will have a pet sibling. If I sound like the right four legged fur kid for you, please fill out an application! Gilbert is up to date on all shots, heart worm negative, on heart worm preventative, microchiped, de-wormed, and neutered. Gilbert’s adoption fee is $250.00. WE DO NOT ACCEPT PERSONAL CHECKS.
