My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

"BUZZ" come to us from a sad situation where the family had too many dogs while dealing with difficult personal issues and problems.

Buzz, an AKC silver and black male Toy Poodle, is 11 inches tall (measured by my wicket), up on leg, a little long in body (but not a sausage on legs) and weighs 7 1/2 pounds. Yes, Buzz is a bit thin, but he is a good eater and will gain some weight now that he has been neutered.

THIS IS A VERY YOUNG BOY! He was born December 22, 2013! So that makes him ONLY 1 YEAR OLD.

Sadly, it is clearly obvious that Buzz has not been properly socialized. Like previous Poodles we have received from various Puppy Mill like situations, Buzz will require a lot of time, patience and love while he learns how much fun it is to be a Poodle in a loving home.

Buzz has been neutered, his teeth cleaned, was heart worm tested negative, shots are up to date, wormed, Home Again micro chipped and registered.

After a bath and hair cut, can you see a happy face of change already developing on him? Socialization is now happening and we are clearly seeing a big difference in this boy!

Buzz is a very pretty, soft, quiet, sweet and gentle, over sized Toy Poodle. He greatly enjoys ALL the other Poodles and gets along with everyone, including his puppies who enjoyed pulling on his ears and chase him around the house.

What a sweet boy who loves to run and play with toys and then JUST LOVES to be held and cuddled while I read or watch some television.

While Buzz is a very pretty boy, he is A WORK IN PROGRESS! He is still very scared and can be difficult to catch while he runs, barks and hides from new people.

Again, he is YOUNG (just 1 year old) with a puppy attitude. He will come when I call him and learned that "treats" mean something good.

As pictured on our web site, he is also going with me to various dog friendly stores and learning that meeting people isn't so scary after all.

Buzz has also been a perfect gentleman in our home! NO ACCIDENTS! What a good boy!

The POTENTIAL is here! I strongly feel Buzz will be a perfect house Poodle for the right family that is willing to continue to work with him.

Leash training has been accomplished. He is great on a leash and loves to go for walks.

Oh my goodness....what a handsome Poodle boy! Don't tell my husband Mike, but can you tell that I am already falling in love with this boy?

Buzz is going to need more work, but I am putting him as available for adoption now as this is a young Poodle who is a quick learner

A fenced yard or pen will be required until he learns to trust you or how to "come". And this boy LOVES to run. Throw a ball and watch him run! He's not learned to bring the ball back, but that is work in progress!

To the right family, Buzz's $300.00 adoption fee (plus $21.00 Minnesota State Sales Tax) helps pay for his Veterinarian work listed above.

Also included is his wire crate (which he tolerates), a soft blanket, a dog bed, a bag of quality dog food, treats, sweater, leash, collar and lots of information to help your adoption start on the right paw forward.

Yes, this is a really nice Poodle boy for the right family. We are recommending that Buzz be adopted by a family with other dogs so they can also teach him how to enjoy life with a family!

PLEASE no young children (under 10) or large aggressive dogs.
