My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Bird is an adorable big eyed Lhasa Apso approx. 4 yrs old; a beige/blonde beauty with grey tipped ears. She is now a very healthy 15.7 lbs. of muscle. She is housebroken when she has access to the outdoors and well behaved. Bird doesn't know what fear is. Her tail is always up and wagging. She has great curiosity about everyone she meets on her walks, canine or human. She likes all dogs. She loves her food and treats and knows to sit for them. When she arrived at her foster home she was a bit traumatized but she is growing in confidence every day and has made amazing progress. She is very well mannered and smart as a whip. She knows SIT and is very well behaved during her baths. She is fine in her crate and very happy to see you in the morning. Though Bird is friendly to other dogs, she does seem to be territorial in the home. She still has some residual food aggression if other dogs come near her food bowl. She likes car rides and does her best to use her short legs to get her high enough to look out the window. We do not recommend her for a home with young kids.
