Almost 2 years, that's how long this handsome guy has been with us! Big and fun boy! MEET THOR!!! He is a beautiful lab mix who was found injured by the Low water bridge and brought to us. He has been in a foster home for the last few months and done great! His foster reports he LOVES to run and is primarily an outside dog. He is not fond of cats and does well with other dogs when introduced. He is 2 years old and NO heartworms. He is sweet to little kids, but because of his desire to be active he may do better with older children. This big man deserves his happy, forever ending!!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Thor, a St. Francisville Labrador Retriever/Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Pit Bull Terrier for sale in St. Francisville, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in St. Francisville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in St. Francisville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a St. Francisville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in St. Francisville paves the way for another one to be saved.
