Tamarind's Story...
I'm Tamarind, brother of Tux and Spencer. My foster mom calls me The Sweet One. I am absolutley a doll. I seem shy at first, but I love to be held. I'm also very playful. I am 8 weeks old and would love a home with one of my brothers. My $70 adoption fee includes my neuter, vaccines and microchip.

All our kitties are kept in foster homes or at PetsMart Naples. To adopt a kitty online, please visit our website: www.volunteerservicesforanimals.com and fill out an adoption application. You may e-mail the completed application to vsarescue@aol.com or fax to 239-261-4768. Upon receipt, a phone interview will be conducted and a meeting set, pending final approval of your application.

Please note, the website is updated daily so if a pet you are interested in is still online, most of the time it is still available for adoption. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tamarind, a Naples Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Naples, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Naples.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Naples already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Naples breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Naples paves the way for another one to be saved.
