Piper's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, a special needs pet, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Piper's Story...
Piper and Traveler are recued dogs that had a rough start. I have rescued and rehabilitated both of them. They are now, very well balanced, secure and happy. Piper is still a little shy around new people and needs patient encouragement. Traveler is an extrovert! He just loves meeting new people. Piper and Traveler are very bonded and we would like to offer them for adoption, together. Please call Eleanor at 510-508-6014, for more details about this beautiful bonded pair.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Piper, a Lodi Foxhound/German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Foxhound/German Shepherd Dog for sale in Lodi, or seeking a Foxhound/German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in Lodi.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Lodi already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Lodi breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Foxhound/German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with Foxhound/German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Lodi paves the way for another one to be saved.
