SHORT HAIR LT. GREY/WHITE
This handsome boy and his siblings were born outside about May 2009. Their mom was completely unapproachable except to put food in front of her. Big Boy is a shining example of how feral kittens can become domesticated. It took about 9 months and now he is actually the hoarder of any attention he sees, he craves it and what more could you want. |He is definitely a lover not a fighter.

Big Boy will want to be the centre of attention and his dream is for a person to pet him all day. If you are looking for a very sweet cat who is well behaved and fun this fellow is for you.

He is a very healthy boy who would be best suited in a home with adults or older quiet children and definitely will need another cat for company, either your resident kitty or one of his best friends here. (Check out Sassy or Macy or Isis) (updated July 18, 2016).

IMPORTANT NOTE ABOUT OUR PERSONALITY PROFILES:
Our personality profiles are 95% accurate based on the cats' present environment; this can change to SOME degree in a new environment, therefore, our predictions on the best matched home are 80% to 100% accurate.

As we have very limited manpower, please also note we are sometimes overloaded and cannot update profiles immediately.

About Cat-a-Match Rescue

About Our Shelter...

A feline behaviourist, rescuing abandoned felines and some dogs. Because of our %100 lifetime return policy we make every effort to correctly match the right companion to suit your lifestyle. This is a "Let Live " Safe Haven and our motto is : rescue, rehabilitate, and re-home. The promise we try to uphold to our rescued felines: " that they should never have to be rescued again!" A Guidelines Adopters' Package is included with the adoption and post adoption support for health and behaviour, from natural to conventional remedies.

Come Meet Our Pets...

The Safe Haven is located 1 hour east of Ottawa just off Hwy. 417, easy to find, and 45 min. west of Montreal. Visits are by appointment.

Our Adoption Process...

Please first read our Adoption Procedures and Criteria on our homepage at: www.catamatch.petfinder.com, then e-mail us requesting an application. We will then review it, contact your references and then contact you by phone for a short interview and to book an appointment for your visit to the shelter. Our visitors usually spend an hour or more to be able to interact with as many of our resident cats as possible, in a natural 'home environment' as well as an opportunity to ask us any questions you might have. We then ask that you return home to make your decision, and if you think you have found a suitable companion we then contact each other to discuss these details. If we are all in agreement, then arrangements are made for your special new companion to be delivered to your home (within a certain distance or other arrangements are made). Our minimum donation for adult cat adoption is $165.00 (an additional donation for cats who have had certain testing or treatments).
