Buttons, born approximately June 2011 GREY MEDIUM HAIR, was found behind our local eatery by some customers who heard faint meowing. When they brought her she was in very bad shape, dehydrated with a bad cold, her eyes almost glued shut with infection. Buttons took sometime to recuperate fully but after a few rounds of medications prescribed by our vet she became healthy and happy.

Buttons is a very playful kitty who adores going out on a leash or if you are thinking of a cat enclosure, this would be her dream come true. In 2014 Buttons underwent dental surgery to remove a few teeth. She is doing well but has remained with a slight nasal condition that may be polyps however we are unable to afford $1000 surgery and she is doing very well with no adverse affects otherwise as per our vet this would has not become something serious to delve into unless there were other symptoms which there are none.

She has a very good appetite and is very well trained and gets along well with all the other cats.. She is very affectionate, spayed and vaccinated etc.. She would do fine as an only cat or with another kitty companion. (updated July 18, 2016)
Our personality profiles are 95% accurate based on the cats' present environment; this can change to SOME degree in a new environment, therefore, our predictions on the best matched home are 80% to 100% accurate.

As we have very limited manpower, please also note we are sometimes overloaded and cannot update profiles immediately.

Our Adoption Process...

Please first read our Adoption Procedures and Criteria on our homepage at:, then e-mail us requesting an application. We will then review it, contact your references and then contact you by phone for a short interview and to book an appointment for your visit to the shelter. Our visitors usually spend an hour or more to be able to interact with as many of our resident cats as possible, in a natural 'home environment' as well as an opportunity to ask us any questions you might have. We then ask that you return home to make your decision, and if you think you have found a suitable companion we then contact each other to discuss these details. If we are all in agreement, then arrangements are made for your special new companion to be delivered to your home (within a certain distance or other arrangements are made). Our minimum donation for adult cat adoption is $165.00 (an additional donation for cats who have had certain testing or treatments).
