Meet Henry! This mellow fellow's easy-going personality makes him a total catch for any household. Henry was found by a kind stranger in their backyard when they brought him to the shelter. Despite his obvious signs of ownership (being neutered and a LITTLE tubby!), no one came to claim this sweet guy as their own. Henry didn't let this get him down, though! He quickly won the hearts of shelter workers and volunteers until he finally found a foster to take him home until he could find his real family. Henry has settled in quickly and is even starting to play with the other pups! He loves to go on walks around the neighborhood and lounge around the house with his people. His house manners are definitely indicative of being owned as well; he is already house-, kennel-, and leashed trained in addition to knowing some basic commands. This guy has lots of love to give and has lots to love in return!
At around 3-5 year old, this guy weighs in around 70lbs and could definitely use to lose a few. Although not a super active dog, Henry could keep up with just about any kind of family, whether they are always on the go or like to laze around like him! He is very gentle so he would probably do wonderfully in a home with some two-legged siblings and other dogs would also be good for him to shake off some of those love handles! Henry's happy-go-lucky personality fits in just about anywhere he goes, so this guy is definitely going to be the one for you. Won't you be his new family?
All Dogs are spayed or neutered, microchipped, up to date on vaccinations, and given a physical by a veterinarian prior to adoption.
