Hello! I'm Emma. My life was saved from a high kill shelter in Texas. I am a super sweet girl but someone must have abused me very badly because most men scare me to the point where I am trembling and fearful. Meeting new people can be hard for me to but once I know you are a safe person I am just a love! I have been working really hard with a trainer and am learning that not everyone is bad and if I am afraid it's ok for me to go to a quiet space instead of get defensive. I am in need of a dedicated foster home or forever home where I can continue my training which will be covered by the rescue. I am completely kennel and potty trained and I love going for walks with my gentle leader on. I need a very mellow household where I can either be an only pet or be with another dog of similar size that is very good with other dogs. No kitties either please because they are just way to interesting to me and they get me all hyped up. I know you are reading this and I probably sound like it's going to be hard work to have me stay with you but please remember....it's not my fault I am so terrified and I really just need someone to give me a chance. Is that someone you?
*Emma also needs a home that is kid free*
